Dr. Rebecca Thiesse has been in private practice since 2013. She attended the University of Minnesota, Morris, for her bachelor's degree in English and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, for her doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.).
Dr. Thiesse completed her fourth year of her doctorate program at Audiology Concepts in Edina, MN, and worked under the private practice group for one year before starting TC Audiology. Dr. Thiesse has owned TC Audiology since 2013. She attends a professional conference every fall to stay updated on the latest practices in audiology and passes that information onto her patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Thiesse spends her time wrangling sheep, fishing, and traveling with her husband, Mark. Dr. Thiesse loves to garden, read with her cats, and road bike with her dad. Together, Dr. Thiesse and her dad have logged many miles through Minnesota, Iowa, and Massachusetts.
Brea Athmann, H.I.S., joined TC Audiology upon her graduation in 2018 from The University of Wisconsin- River Falls with her Bachelor of Science degree in communication sciences and disorders. Prior to graduation, Brea was a student intern with TC Audiology for four years during her academic breaks.
Brea completed her Minnesota certification as a Hearing Aid Specialist in 2019. She is excited to help patients with hearing evaluations, hearing aid adjustments, and more! She attends conferences and trainings throughout the year to stay updated on all the latest technology and practice information.
She grew up in Olivia and enjoys the opportunity to work in this special community. Outside of the office, Brea loves running, gardening, walking her dog, and watching her husband’s baseball games.
